Q: Is Allied Personnel Services an independent or national service?

A: Allied is a locally owned and operated independent service with 20 years of relationship building in the Lehigh Valley and surrounding areas. We offer personal attention from a dedicated team that has broad knowledge of the Lehigh Valley market. Our team of professionals provide our customers solutions from our local location, making decisions quicker and allowing management involvement in all daily operations. As an independent and local service, all staff members are close enough to visit your location for different needs and for you to come see our operations for a better understanding of the ‘Allied difference’.


Q: What is the size of your office/team?

A: The size of our staff is very unique in the staffing industry. With twenty-four (24) knowledgeable and qualified staff members, we are able to give personal attention to our clients. Six (6) of our staff members hold the prestigious CTS (Certified Temporary-Staffing Specialist) designation which means our clients are assured that they are working with experienced and dedicated professionals who have extensive knowledge of temporary operations, Equal Employment Opportunity law, business situations and standards of business practices.


Q: Can you customize your services to fit our company’s need?

A: Yes! We service a wide variety of companies with customized service solutions. We tailor our services to fit your company! No matter what type of hiring needs you have, we consider your challenge as our opportunity.


Q: Is my company just another number?

A: No. We have forged long-term relationships with our customers and demonstrate this by our repeat business with small and large area companies. Our goal is to become partners with our clients, to understand their business and their needs, and to understand exactly who they are. Q: How can I know that I am getting quality candidates, ones like I would hire on my own?

A: We align ourselves to match the expectations of our clients. Our staff is committed to knowing our customers’ needs. Representatives visit job sites before starting employees to ensure we are making the best match for our customers. We take great pride in our thorough screening process. We recruit carefully, interview and screen thoroughly, test precisely and respond quickly. It is through these screening tools that we determine if the candidate will be a match for our customer.


Q: Can I refer my family and friends to Allied?

A: Yes. Allied gets its best employees from referrals. We also appreciate being referred to business associates when we have done a great job for our customers.


Q: How do you recruit your employees?

A: Allied maintains a comprehensive network of recruiting sources. We have ongoing media advertising programs geared toward recruiting. We have a referral bonus program geared toward our existing employees. Job fairs and open houses are held in the community to effectively locate candidates in the vicinity of your company. In addition to our recruiting efforts, we consistently implement retention programs to keep our workforce active with Allied.


Q: What are your bill rates?

A: Bill rates vary according to employee skills and experience required. Please contact one of representatives for bill rates.


Q: What is the policy if we want to hire one of your employees assigned at our company?

A: Allied offers a temporary-to-hire program that allows you to evaluate a temporary employee before making a hiring decision. The employee remains on Allied’s payroll during this time, and you are billed at an hourly rate. This saves recruiting time and expense for your company when you have a full-time opening. Q: What are the different staffing choices?

A: We offer short and long term temporary staffing, temp to hire, and direct hire placement.
